Today I’m sharing with you my favourite recipe for brownies. They’re dead easy to make and safe enough to include your children or nieces/nephews in the process. Let the fun begin! :)
First, preheat your oven to 180°C.
250 g butter
220 g dark chocolate
200 g caster sugar
65 g flour
80 g cocoa powder
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla essence
pinch of salt
*1/2 tsp of coffee powder
*1/2 tsp of cinnamon powder
Melt wet ingredients and add them to well mixed dry ingredients. Mix until it’s well combined and smooth. Beat the eggs and add them to the mixture but make sure the mixture is not too hot, because it could cause them to cook. You don’t want that. :) Mix again until smooth and then pour it into the pan that is lined with baking parchment paper.
Bake for 25-30 minutes. Don’t worry if it looks undone in the middle, this type of brownies is moist and chewy. Serve with vanilla ice cream and/or whipped cream. Yum!
*Depending on your preference, you can add either for a slight edge to the taste of brownies. Or ignore both. :)
